what did you do today?

today i:

*nursed two babies
*was solely responsible for three kids under the age of three for three hours
*primed an entire bathroom, two closets, and all of the ceilings in the new construction
(with a baby on my back)
*loaded up a wheelbarrow with gravel and hauled it to the backyard and dumped it 20 times
(with a baby on my back)
*read a 350 page novel in its entirety
*stripped all my bedding, took it to the laundromat, washed, dried and folded it, then brought it home and remade the bed
*showered, deep conditioned my hair and shaved my legs

and now i'm going to bed.

I've been wondering if your SIL fell off the wagon when she missed her methadone appt., and if so, what that would mean for nursing the baby... I guess if she did fall off the wagon you could nurse her, huh? Not an ideal situation, but better than getting the baby addicted to heroin.

well, she managed to buy partial doses from a couple friends, and then got some more from some sketchy dude, so she was able to squeak through the weekend, without using heroin.

i've been nursing erin off and on since she came home from the hospital. its really exhausting and it completely fucks with my supply and nursing p, because i don't nurse erin regularly, so some days i am totally engorged and others i feel like i have nothing. i've been taking fenugreek on those days but of course that makes things weird for my body the next day. that deserves a post in itself but bleh. so do a lot of things.
